About Andrea:

I am a 26 year old Bolivian living in Marlborough, MA. I have been living in the U.S. for about 14 years, being able to witness so many different cultures has truly been a blessing. I am now happily married and have two beautiful dogs named Luna and Dexter. In Bolivia, food is a huge part of our tradition and culture, the country offers so much diversity and we eat absolutely everything that it has to offer. I grew up watching all of the women in my family cook, they were very knowledgeable and so great at it and I was always observing. I started helping out when I was old enough and developed a passion for food and cooking. I also realized how essential food is for our bodies and minds, the quality of food we consume can determine our body’s overall health and can affect our minds as well. I attended Quinsigamond Community College and obtained an Associate’s degree in Foodservice Management in 2018. I later transferred to Framingham State University and am due to graduate this May 2021 with my Bachelor’s degree in Food and Nutrition. I am currently in the process of applying for dietetic internships as well as obtain my Master’s and hope to become a Registered Dietitian in the near future.
